Huasquila Amazon Lodge is the best way to discover the magic of the Amazon with all senses for nature lovers in an exclusive, accessible and responsible way.

We offer personalized service for accommodation, meals, tours and transfers under the concept of sharing ecological, social and cultural values always respecting and improving the conditions of our environment.

This exclusive ecotourism complex of bungalows is located in the Sacred Valley of Cotundo within the Sumaco Biosphere Reserve, where the Eastern Slope of the Andes ends and the Amazon basin begins. This unique location allows us to offer different activities from jungle hikes to caving or discovering the millenarian culture of the indigenous people through its art expressions.

It is only a 3 hour drive (by private car) from Ecuador´s capital city Quito making Huasquila the most accessible Amazon destination of Ecuador, especially for short stays (3 day packages). It is also a get away from the typical tourist area so that you can enjoy a genuine Amazon experience.

At Huasquila we have 13 comfortable bungalows with terrace (7 of them are fully wheel chair accessible) plus 4 cabins built in Kichwa style keeping in harmony with nature and equipped with all necessary facilities for making your stay at Huasquila an unforgettable experience. We are a family owned operation which offers personalized attention under first class service and can host up to 40 persons.
