ITINERARY

This itinerary details the activities of the 4d/3n Amazon Tour package. If you choose the 3d/2n Amazon Tour package, it has the same itinerary, but ends after breakfast on the third day.

• First day

Arrival at the lodge and lunch. After a short rest, we will have a hike to the 12-meter-high waterfall where you can take an energizing bath. During the hike you can observe medicinal plants, a lagoon, the Huasquila tree, and experience swinging from a liana.

Upon return to the lodge, a delicious dinner awaits you accompanied by the singing of frogs from the lagoon in front of the restaurant. Later, you will be part of a chocolate session where you learn about the entire chocolate-making process, from roasting to grinding, and enjoy a delicious fruit dessert.

• Second day

After breakfast, we will start a jungle hike (approx. 3 hours) surrounded by primary and secondary forests. We will pass through a 120-meter-long cave where you can encounter bats. A short distance away, with our native guide, we will head to the 14-meter-high “Golondrinas” waterfall, offering you the opportunity to immerse yourself in its waters. On the way back, you will visit a guayusa plantation and factory.

In the afternoon, after lunch, we will visit the Kichwa community and you can participate in their typical dance, learn about their culture, and witness the preparation of the famous chicha. In the evening, you will enjoy a dinner with specialties from the region. Later, you will have a night walk around the gardens where you can observe frogs, grasshoppers, other insects and with some luck, bioluminescent mushrooms, finishing up your jungle experience

• Third day

After breakfast, we will head to Punta Ahuano where you will enjoy a full-day Misahuallí tour with a canoe. Here you will participate in the following activities: canoe ride, hike to the Ceibo tree, visit the Amazon rescue center with the option of tubi down the river. We will also visit the caiman lagoon and have a box lunch before taking the river transport back to the port. We conclude the day with dinner at the lodge.

• Fourth day

Enjoy a delicious breakfast and check-out.
