From exploring the surrounding jungle to trying local chocolate, you’ll have several options to choose from. Do you feel adventurous? Go rafting on the Jatunyaku River! If relaxation is more your style, simply wander around our facilities and admire the local flora and fauna.

Our team of knowledgeable and experienced native guides will ensure that you have a comfortable and safe trip as they accompany you through each and every activity. Offering all kinds of activities, we have divided them into the ones where you do not need to use a car (inside our reserve) and the ones located close by, but where it is necessary for you to use your own vehicle.

Activities in

Huasquila

Immerse yourself in the Amazon with a wide selection of activities available in our private reserve. Visitors can explore underground caves, enjoy a dip in our waterfalls or simply traverse jungle trails marked by our expert guides.

Activities in the

Huasquila area

The area of Napo, Archidona where our lodge is located offers several activities to enjoy the Amazon to the fullest. You will be able to enjoy an action-packed day of rafting and kayaking, spend time with the local indigenous communities learning about their culture and way of life or simply navigate through the Napo River observing wildlife.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Whether you decide to do activities inside or outside Huasquila, it is important for you to take into account that many of them require the use of rubber boots, light clothing and a hydrating drink at all times. In the Amazon, the weather can be unpredictable, so we also recommend bringing a rain sweater and a hat to protect yourself from the sun and rain. Also, before starting any tour, be sure to check if you need additional equipment such as flashlights for exploring caves. Not for all, but for the majority of tours that is the case.

You don’t want to be without them in key moments!
