We are proud to offer accessible Amazon experiences for people with disabilities or reduced mobility, providing the opportunity to explore the natural beauty of the Amazon Rainforest safely and comfortably.

Our team is highly trained to provide necessary assistance and adaptations to ensure that each guest has a memorable and satisfying experience. We offer accessible accommodations and adapted bathrooms in our facilities.

Accessible Amazon 3 Days / 2 Nights

Price: $140 per night per adult in double accessible room

NOTE

  • Single accommodation surcharge: 30%
  • Kids count as children from 4-12 years old and pay 50% of the established rate, infants from 0-3 years old do not have to be paid for as long as they share a room with their parents.
  • Activities may change order depending on weather conditions.
  • The duration of the different hikes may vary according to the physical conditions of the group members.
  • We also offer a 4-day, 3-night itinerary that includes a full-day rafting excursion on the Anzu River on the third day.

ITINERARY

This itinerary details the activities of the 3-day/2-night package.

  • First day

Arrival at Huasquila Lodge and lunch. After a short rest, you will visit the Kichwa community located just 100 meters from the lodge, where you can participate in traditional dances, learn about their culture, witness the preparation of the famous chicha and have the opportunity to purchase local handicrafts.

Back at the lodge, you will enjoy a delicious dinner accompanied by the singing of frogs from the lagoon in front of the restaurant.

  • Second day

After breakfast, you will use the all-terrain wheelchair for a hike into the forest, where you learn about medicinal plants from a native guide. This hike will last a total of 2 hours on the “all-terrain” wheelchair, including stops along the way to learn about the various uses of medicinal plants and a visit to a small waterfall.

Note: If for any reason the passenger is unable to participate in this activity, a native guide will bring the medicinal plants to the lodge and explain their different uses.

In the afternoon, after lunch, you will be part of a chocolate session where you learn about the entire chocolate making process, from roasting to grinding, and enjoy a delicious fruit dessert.

  • Third day

Enjoy a delicious breakfast and check out.

If you have booked a 4-day/3-night Amazon tour package, the journey continues on the third day after breakfast as you head to Tena for an unforgettable adventure on the Anzu River. This part of the trip will be done in a calm river rafting boat, allowing you to admire the flora and fauna of the Amazon rainforest.

Note: Although the river is very calm, for safety reasons you will be accompanied by a kayak at all times. For transfers in and out of the boat, manual assistance will be provided to the client using a sliding board and/or lifting the passenger onto the boat. The passenger must have sufficient torso strength and be able to transfer.

Upon return, you can use the pool and hot tub, and then enjoy a delicious dinner.

  • Fourth day

Enjoy a delicious breakfast and check out.
