SACRED VALLEY OF COTUNDO
We are located in the Sacred Valley of Cotundo, an important archaeological site still to be discovered, known for having a large concentration of petroglyphs. These are figures carved in stone that show geometric, anthropomorphic, zoomorphic or abstract images. They are archaeological vestiges that introduce us to the cultures of the past in the Amazon.
WHAT DOES HUASQUILA MEAN?
The name Huasquila comes from the name of a type of tree found in the extensions of the lodge. It is characterized by having a large number of “Huasca” vines or lianas that grow around the “Ila” tree, taking it over in the end.

The facilities of our lodge are located within the 166 hectares that make up our private nature reserve where, thanks to the contribution of our visitors, we not only operate tourist activities but also carry out conservation and reforestation activities.
