Amazon Tour
The Amazon Tour package offers an all-inclusive system that starts its activities from the first day at 13:00 (1:00 PM) and lasts until the last day at 10:00 (10:00 AM). There are several activities scheduled within the itinerary that will allow you to make the most of your time and explore other tourist sites in the area.
PRICE: $140 per person per night
ITINERARY
(For the 3-day / 2-night package, the same itinerary applies, ending after breakfast on the third day.)
- First day
Arrival at the lodge and lunch. After a short rest, we will take a walk to a 12-meter-high waterfall, ideal for an energizing bath. Along the way, you’ll see medicinal plants, a lagoon, the Huasquila tree, and enjoy the experience of swinging on a vine.
At night, enjoy dinner by the lagoon and a chocolate session where you’ll learn about the whole process: from roasting and grinding to tasting a dessert with fruits.
- Second day
After breakfast, we’ll walk through primary and secondary forest (approx. 3h), and cross a 120-meter cave inhabited by bats. Then we’ll visit a second 14-meter waterfall where you can take a dip. In the afternoon, after lunch, we’ll visit a Kichwa community where you’ll join in traditional dances, learn about their culture, and how to prepare traditional chicha.
At night, after dinner, we’ll take a night walk through the gardens to observe frogs, insects, and, with luck, bioluminescent mushrooms.
- Third day
After breakfast, we’ll depart to Punta Ahuano to enjoy a full day on the Napo River by canoe. Includes:
· Canoe ride
· Short hike
· Optional tubing
· Visit to Amazon Rescue Center
· Visit to the caiman lagoon
· Box lunch
Return to the port by canoe and dinner at the lodge.
- Fourth day
Breakfast and check-out.
